YUNYI 4G Wireless Roots flow meters, also known as gas rotary flow meters, are high-precision, highly reliable gas metering instruments based on volumetric measurement principles. They integrate flow, temperature, and pressure detection functions, perform automatic temperature and pressure compensation calculations, and directly display total volume under standard conditions.
Its core operating principle utilizes a pair of precision-machined conjugate rotors (waist wheels) that rotate alternately under the pressure differential between the inlet and outlet fluids. Each complete rotation of the rotors discharges gas equivalent to four times the effective volume of the metering chamber. Through a magnetic sealed coupling device and a reduction mechanism, the rotor’s rotation count is transmitted to the totalizer, enabling precise calculation and display of the cumulative volumetric flow rate.
Modern intelligent wireless Roots flow meters incorporate ultra-low power consumption technology and microcontroller technology. While delivering robust performance, the entire unit consumes minimal power, enabling extended operation solely on its built-in battery. Additionally, by configuring an RS-485 communication interface and DTU module, wireless remote data transmission capabilities are achieved.
