CNG Compressed Natural Gas Equipment
LNG skid-mounted and vaporization equipment is an integrated, modular unit designed to receive and store cryogenic liquid LNG (liquefied natural gas, approximately -162°C). It reconverts the LNG into ambient-temperature gaseous natural gas via vaporizers, then delivers it to downstream users after pressure regulation and metering. All components are integrated onto one or more skids, enabling factory prefabrication, rapid installation, and easy relocation.
Core Functions
1. LNG Receiving and Storage: Safely receive liquid LNG from tank trucks and store it in high-pressure, cryogenic storage tanks.
2. Pressurization and Self-Pressurization: Use a booster to elevate the LNG pressure within the storage tanks to the required working pressure, ensuring smooth delivery to the vaporizer.
3. Vaporization (Reheating): This is the most critical function. Utilizing air-heated vaporizers (primary) or water-bath/electric-heated vaporizers (backup), -162°C liquid LNG absorbs heat and undergoes phase change into gaseous natural gas above 5°C.
4. Pressure Regulation and Stabilization: Ensures constant outlet pressure through multi-stage regulation to meet user equipment requirements.
5. Precise Metering: Accurately measures the output natural gas volume as the basis for trade settlement.
6. Safety Monitoring and Control:
✦ BOG Treatment: Processes natural gas that naturally evaporates from storage tanks due to heat absorption, preventing tank overpressure.
✦ Emergency Shutdown (ESD): Rapidly halts the entire process in case of leaks, fires, overpressure, or other abnormal conditions.
✦ Automatic Switching and Defrosting: Controls automatic operation switching and defrosting for multiple air-cooled vaporizer units.
✦ Centralized Control: Utilizes a PLC system for real-time monitoring and automatic control of critical parameters including liquid level, pressure, temperature, and flow rate.
